I first heard about the HCG diet back in 2015. I wish I would have taken a leap of faith and started the HCG diet back then. However, it wasn’t until August 2018, I happened to stumble across the HCG diet on Facebook. I was skeptical at first when I read that you could only consume 500 calories per day and still lose weight. I thought to myself, “There is no way I can do that!” After following the hCG Diet Support group for about a month I decided to take a leap of faith and ordered a long round from Rachel Gunter. At that point in my life, I figured there was nothing to lose. I was 200 lbs and feeling miserable with myself.

Fast forward one long round later:

Thirty three pounds of not only physical weight, but the weight of feeling embarrassed, not confident in myself, unhappy, and just plain uncomfortable in my own skin every day? ♀️

I was tired, desperate, and tried EVERYTHING to help me kick it into gear. I knew how lost I had become, but I didn’t really fully realize it until this past summer. It wasn’t even until August of this year that I officially took a chance and reached out to Rachel Gunter. I had seen all the success stories and wanted to be one of them too!

Was I skeptical? Oh, God, yes! I had tried everything and I thought “So what? You were successful, but who says I will be?” The difference is, I took a chance. I took a risk. I dove right into something I didn’t know was going to work because I had NOTHING left to lose. What I didn’t know is abandoning that fear would turn into something so amazing and I had NO idea how it was going to change my whole life for the better. I am blessed for the healthy habits I have learned in the last couple of months and have turned this into a complete LIFESTYLE change. I am blessed to be part of a community of amazing people and to be able to motivate other individuals who are also skeptical and need that little nudge to take a chance and do something good to improve their life. ❤

Do not ever hesitate to reach out and take that first step beyond the fear or doubt that may be holding your back. It could be the one thing that could change your entire life.
