What is PASSION (PT-141)?
PT-141, also known as bremelanotide, is a synthetic peptide that functions in the same way as the natural hormone melanocortin. It is FDA-approved for the treatment of premenopausal women with hypoactive sexual desire disorder (low sex drive). It is also used to treat male erectile dysfunction and reduced libido.
